From the 5th to the 9th of September, we have been in Žilina (Slovakia) for the third Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) of the #Erasmusplus project I Will Survive! The training consisted of a first aid practice course provided by the Slovak Red Cross, and several simulations of fire fighting interventions.
The Slovak rescue brigade presented an overview of their training and all the equipment they adopt for rescuing civilians during emergencies. Our team members also visited two departments of the Faculty of security engineering of the University of Zilina.
Finally, we also visited the unified operated center, where operators described us their day-to-day activities and what they do in case of emergency.
